Need Password Error in Outlook all office versions
It’s really annoying to have this error in outlook while working and we are unable to get the latest mails. You can use the below-suggested methods to resolve the issue with any outlook version you have.
Method 1: Credential Manager
- Open the credential manager from the start menu and remove all the credentials associated with MS-office.
- If the above method fails you can choose the second method.
Method 2: Registry Fix
- You need to open the registry editor using the command Regedit inside the run box.
- Note: It is recommended to take a backup of your registry before making any changes to it.
Go to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity] Right-click and select DWORD inside the Identity Directory and Rename it with "DisableADALatopWAMOverride" Double click on it and change the value to 00000001
- Restart your system then open outlook. it will ask for a User name and password.
